2001 Blue Moon Cycle/BMWMOGA BMW Swap Meet

Nature was kind to us and supplied us with truly extraordinary weather...blue skies and short sleeve temeperatures. Nearly 300 BMW Motorcycle enthusiasts bought and sold all kinds of BMW parts and paraphenalia, demo'd new BMW motorcycles, enjoyed our secret recipe bratwurst-with-all-the-fixin's meal, and generally had a great time. Among the many parts and motorcycles that were brought to be sold were at least three /5s, an R27, an R60/2, two or three /6s, cylinders, transmissions, final drives, and saddlebags. John was delighted to buy a collection of BMW advertisements from the 1950s, and vendors reported brisk sales. The success of this event assures that we will do it again for years to come.
